Who can participate in the tournament?
Swing & Connect welcomes golfers of all skill levels, as well as non-golfers who want to network, support minority-owned businesses, and enjoy the community atmosphere. Whether you’re playing or attending, everyone has a place on the green.
How does the event support minority - owned businesses?
A dedicated portion of tournament sponsorship proceeds is invested in advancing minority-owned businesses both through strategic programs and direct support to the featured businesses presented during the event. Each spotlighted business benefits from increased visibility and tangible growth opportunities.
How will Swing & Connect be involved in providing tax-deductible receipts for donations and sponsorships?
Wellcrafted Foundry serves as our nonprofit fiscal sponsor, which allows all donations and sponsorships to be processed through their registered 501(c)(3) organization. This means that contributors will receive an official tax-deductible receipt from Wellcrafted Foundry for their records. Your generous support directly funds our shared mission to empower underrepresented professionals through mentorship, leadership, and community programs.
Is this just a golf event or is there more to it?
While golf is the centerpiece, Swing & Connect is also a community experience featuring intentional networking, business spotlights, and opportunities to connect with like-minded professionals who believe in driving impact through connection.
How can I get involved or become a sponsor?
You can participate as a player, volunteer, or sponsor. Sponsors receive brand visibility, community recognition, and the chance to directly contribute to the growth of minority-owned businesses. Sponsorship packages are available for various levels of engagement.
